Wow, that is so crazy how it didn’t look glowy at first but then boom glow! I also love thicker creams, especially thicker eye creams. If they are too thin, I feel like the cream just gets absorbed by my fingers. As far as face creams, I do like thicker creams but I’m even more picky because I do tend to get pretty oily, so they have to absorb really well and not feel like extra grease sitting on my skin, if that makes sense. I wanted to ask you, have you heard of Anisa Beauty? They make skincare brushes that I have been wanting to try for a long time and I just got the face brush and the eye brush and omg, they are amazing. They are so gentle and I really like that I know all of the eye cream and face moisturizer is going into my skin and not into my hands when I use the brushes. The eye brush is my favorite just because it’s so gentle on that delicate skin, but the bigger face brush is wonderful too. I didn’t buy the full line of the skincare brushes because I can do everything I need to with the two I got, but I highly recommend them, especially if you are someone that really enjoys your skincare routine. 💕

You’re eyes definitely looked smoother a minute or two later, (I take my eye cream into crease as well as my crease gets so so dry), I do like Tarte Maracuja one but it’s really expensive compared to the other products so I’m getting a sample of the sea eye cream. The night cream definitely got glowier, you could see it happen as you were talking about it. Is it just me, had to pause half way through because I hadn’t done my skincare yet and my skin felt grotty even without makeup on so I had to go do it and come back. I’m wearing a really posh serum I got in a free sample though, it’s the YSL one. The serum itself seems amazing (2nd night using but every other night), but I don’t like the perfumey smell to it. It’s not as bad tonight as first night. I usually use the Tarte h20 super serum or whatever it’s called that also has oil in it, that you can definitely tell has oil in it. X

I’d love to try her skin care line. I am like you and love a thicker night cream and love Charlotte’s cream. I have come across a beautiful thicker cream I bought at Sephora. It’s Laneige water bank moisturiser cream. It’s absolutely beautiful. It’s $52 Australian here. I think you wld love it

Why not use coconut oil to remove your make up? Works wonders! I'm a certified cosmetologist and you can get great products without the price. And maybe you have to use the jlo glow serum to get that glow or the whole set? Olive oil isn't as great for the skin as some may think and I don't trust a 50 year old woman who claims skin care is the way her skin looks still amazing! I've caught her in many lies about her skin care routine over the yrs. She claimed she only drinks a lot of water, gets at least 9-10 hours if sleep at night and she's been using some rose cream from whole foods forever and she never changed it. Then she added on very expensive other products here and there, but you don't have to kill your bank account to get great skin care 😉 Every dermatologist and cosmetologist will attest to that!

It's common knowledge that female celebrities (especially the 50 year old ones) have had botox, fillers, micro-needling, and a bunch of other expensive treatments the average person can't afford. And it's important that we all remind each other that celebrities don't have their perfect skin due to skin care alone. We can develop self-esteem or body issues by comparing ourselves to celebrities that look perfect, when in reality we'd all look perfect if we had the money they do. JLO is probably enjoying the millions she's making off this line and not really caring if one person points out she's had extra help.
