Well, as we have also learned, apparently learning to read Pokemon cards so you can better dominate your enemies also works. 🤣

I do have a question actually…I deal with some Japanese clients and find them speaking reeally fast in Japanese. Any tips on how you pick out these things? You have great tips on learning how to speak and read it but what about a real live conversation?
@LisaLostInJapan17 күн бұрын
@@moelc12 The teachers in my schools speak really fast in Japanese too 😭 What helps me is learning the words that they use frequently, so in my case it would be like • gaikokugo - foreign language • jugyou - class • ichi jikan me - first period And so on, and you create these lists so you will be able to pick up on it the next time you hear them talk. And you just keep expanding the list over time so you can understand more and more of what they’re talking about! I guess it’s the same as when Japanese hear us speaking English, it sounds really fast to them and they have no choice but to pick out the words they know & get used to the speed over time 😭

How did you get a Japanese boyfriend?
@LisaLostInJapan22 күн бұрын
@@KpopListener There’s a lot of ways 😆 If you’re not shy, you can look for gatherings between Japanese and native English speakers aimed to get everyone to practice speaking/listening. Then there’s always the dating app route, though Japanese rarely show their face in their profiles so you never know what you’re gonna get haha. Or you could use a language exchange app like HelloTalk and see if any of your friendships blossom into something more! I’ve heard so many stories of HelloTalk couples haha even though it’s not a dating app
