JLR security grabs my arm!🤬🛸🇬🇧👮‍♀️

In today’s video, we visit jaguar Land Rover group Gaydon in Warwick.
Walked down the publicly accessible road to the gate and started filming then one security comes out and puts his hand on my phone.
While talking with the first security, another came from behind and grabbed my arm that I was filming with I immediately shouted do not touch me.
Had a small back-and-forth with them at the gate, then left while taking the drone over another guy approached me with no SIA badge. He just tried to be on damage control for JLR.
Complete audit fail!!

While you did leave when asked, the situation might not have escalated had you not gone onto their premises in the first place. That being said, the security guard was also in the wrong for grabbing you by the arm. A more appropriate action would have been to request to speak with his supervisor immediately, allowing them to handle the situation in a proper and professional manner. You should have considered obtaining an email address to formally file a complaint against the security guards, which would allow management to take the right action. The guards may need additional training. From my experience, many security guards do not receive thorough training from the SIA. We're often given a badge but lack sufficient education on the laws and regulations, particularly in areas like drone operations. This lack of proper training is unfortunately common within the industry."

The reason I chose to leave was due to multiple ongoing issues that weren’t being addressed, such as improper report handling, language barriers, and a lack of essential training. I understand the challenges, but these problems continue to affect the industry and make it difficult for guards to perform their duties effectively. As I move forward with starting my own business in IT, cybersecurity, and security monitoring, one of my main priorities will be providing thorough training in all areas. This training will include compliance with drone laws, correct body camera usage, and mental health awareness, along with a strong emphasis on the Data Protection Act. It’s vital that security personnel know how to protect customer data and understand the importance of safeguarding sensitive information. Unfortunately, many companies overlook this critical aspect, leaving guards and staff underprepared for the responsibilities that come with handling such data. I’m also eager to collaborate with professionals in the field, including audit KZbinrs, who are often at the forefront of public accountability. By working together, we can raise awareness and help educate others on the importance of security protocols, legal compliance, and the ethical handling of personal information. It's already tough in the UK, and we shouldn’t let barriers come between us. By uniting as a team, we can break down these walls and work together toward a common goal: improving the industry and making sure people understand the significance of proper training. Unfortunately, many companies still resist change, and individuals like myself find themselves stuck, forced to follow outdated rules set by management that don’t prioritize the professionalism or development of their staff. I believe the SIA (Security Industry Authority) needs to rethink and rewrite its approach to security training and regulation to better serve the industry and its workers. My vision is to create an environment where guards are not only trained to follow rules but also understand the reasoning behind them. This includes handling data responsibly, treating the public with professionalism, and working within the law in every aspect of their role. H did not enter the site. That's going past the security barriers. Being on the private road is a nothingness in what security can do in stopping actions. All the private road means is that it's maintained by the owner rather than the council. A private road open to all is not really private.
