When you're out in public you can film anything you can see with your eyes, fair enough, but I don't know how else you're going to see something other than with your eyes, it also begs the question, is a blind person allowed to film in public? They can't see anything with their eyes, surely we don't discriminate against them, even if filming something would be absolutely pointless for them, they should still be allowed to if they so choose.

I think this is a seminal demonstration that some people simply cannot grasp the fundamental concept of laws from social contracts; that they arise from an implicit or explicit agreement among individuals to form a society and for the greater good of that society. Clearly to some people "Law" means only "what I think" or "what my big boss tells me". You can't citizens arrest a security guard for not displaying their SIA licence because its not indictable, its a summary offence. And the security guard also committed a section 4 public order offence by threatening to take you down which is a threat of imminent violence.

The contract of the security guard who threatened violence should also be terminated. The other two security guards should receive official warnings regarding their conduct. Contact the freeholder of the building and make an official complaint.
