Thanks for this! I used to have all the old GI Joe figures from the early 70s, and had NO IDEA that the old Joe Adventure Team had a life after the 1970s in new GI Joe comics. This was fascinating.

I had Atomic Man and Bullet Man toys when I was little. Bullet Man had loops in the back of his suit so you could make him fly by running him down a string, usually into a block tower to knock it down. It was fun.

As little lads in the 1970's & 80's in England; we had some of the 12" Action Man figures. I think we both had Atomic Man with his pacemaker. I had Bulletman. The superhero vibe did it for me. Those were the days when a 12" action figure didn't cost an arm and a leg.

So what was the Bulletman deceptive advertisement? You only mentioned it but didn't go into depth about that
@JLSComics
@JLSComics 2 ай бұрын
Good question. So I wanted to be cautious with that part which is why I didn't go much into depth there. Truthfully, there isn't really a lot of information out there on it. I suspect it has to do with the zip line and "flying", which is essentially what Hasbro was fined for with the Eco Warriors Battle Copter. I didn't want to include that though in case it is incorrect. I'll keep research it to confirm.

Underwhelmed Forget why I had to have this as a kid. Chrome was nice and had a different face than the usual fuzzy head. But the chrome arms were weird and used the ‘64 pinching hands. The flying action was something you only set up once. Atomic Mike on the other hand was awesome.
