Torpedo was my very first G. I. Joe action figure. I much preferred him over both Shipwreck and Wetsuit (who looked more like a civilian diver than a US Navy SEAL). Its a shame that he, like Stalker or Cover Girl got little to do in the cartoons.

The challenge coin Torpedo gives the Burkhart family in #206 takes its' design cues from the GI Joe 50th anniversary coin created for the GI Joe convention and was a gesture of Torpedo's respect for the doctor's bavery and strength of her convictions.

I don't have the Torpedo figure but I have a lot of the vehicles mentioned including the Toss 'N' Cross Bridge Layer, the Dragonfly helicopter, and the APC which I put in which I put a lot of my favorite G.I.Joe figures in which I have Duke diving and Scarlett riding shotgun, on the side behind the passenger seat or where Scarlett is sitting, I have Rock 'N' Roll, Grunt, Breaker, Airtight, Barbecue, Footloose, Bazooka, and Alpine! On the driver's side behind Duke I have Roadblock, Gung Ho, Stalker, Doc, Recondo, Mutt and Junkyard, Ricpcord, and Blow Torch!

Torpedo's file card says his rank is warrant officer 4 but in the history it says he's a lieutenant, which is it? Also, if he's a SEAL, then why is it he never had a mission on land or air and always alone, not part of a team? 4:57 I wonder how a dog can ride on the skids of a helicopter? 5:47 And WHY is Snowjob wearing a parka in the Florida Everglades? 6:06 Where is Torpedo here? The first few years of GI Joe has my favorite characters. They have specialties that really work with each other. Torpedo added a lot to the team being a frogman/SEAL. It was a start to a great core of navy characters. Sadly in the IDW Hama run fellow SEAL Wet suit does not show up.

I have to say torpedo wetsuit deep six are just in a list of my favorite GI Joe characters mostly because with these three they're all water-based and my passion and hobby is scuba diving I'm also a swimmer I've been doing it since I was a kid, And considering some of these fictional characters backgrounds, its made me consider enlisting as well, either navy. Or coast guard is where i want to go.

Seeing alot of Sea or Naval-type G.I. Joe character such as "Shipwreck","Wet-Suit", and "Torpedo" has even inspired me to make a G.I. Joe character of my own, my Joe character's codename will be "Rain Barrel" and not only that he'll be a Naval Scout but also a boxer too since his fists would be stronger than pistols when I also give him blue light-colored Power gloves based on the same Power gloves but in green color that Heavy Duty wears from one of my favorite G.I. Joe guilty pleasures called "Sigma 6" even Rain Barrel's jet boat vehicle "Tsunami" would also be based on Sigma 6 Duke's Thunderwave Jet Boat vehicle as well, 2 more best parts about Rain Barrel is that like Luffy from One Piece, I'd be giving him a straw hat and he'd also be good friends with Scarlett and Snake Eyes since I also thought they wouldn't mind a 3rd partner after all. Nothing wrong with being a creative G.I. Joe fan am I right? :)
