I really appreciate the additional coupler height info and the NMRA gage usage! Slight coupler variance may not seem like much, but on rough track, it can uncouple a train in a second. If you're unlucky and on a grade when this happens, it can lead to a runaway that will destroy those fine details. Been there, done that. Cried a lot.

Nice job on the review. I'm looking forward to seeing some at the local dealer, but I know that I will buy some. You have assembled a first-rate train of them. That must have cost more than my 401K :-)

Awesome review! I really want one of the river counter ones. Have you noticed any issues with the roller bearings popping out on any? I had an Athearn do that to me a lot so I'm hoping these don't do it.

How much are the "add-ons"? the Decals REALLY jump out at the roll-by. The little decals- not so much. I'll probably get a few "rivet counters" to spot at the local oilfield, and a big cut of "operators" for my unit train.

Good job James, however I cant help to notice that those couplers are no where near being properly gauged. In order for them to be properly gauged the two creases in the middle of the couplers (they look like mold lines) need to line up, these are way off. Not your fault but thats why I call this RTR stuff 'Ready to Re-work'
