JM's a successful farmer and a charismatic pitchman, but I bought an 853 diesel based on many other recommendations also. Seems a lot of small farmers/market gardners are using BCS equipment for good reason.

Great question! Mulching lawn mowers are intended for shorter grass heights, the longest being in the 4'' range. Tall grass, including cover crops and spend crops, is generally not in the wheelhouse of a lawn mower, which is why the BCS Flail Mower is a far superior option.
