Hello from Spain. We are starting a new farm with Jean Martin's model, and a question came to our minds... What is the distance you need at the end of the raised beds for the BCS walk behind tractor (ours is 750) to turn easily to proceed with the next raised bed? I mean...the minimum distance for the paths between gardens? Any advice?

Hi Teresa, Great question! Since you're already following Jean Martin's method, I would advise using his recommendations for spacing as well. On his farm, he uses 112 ft beds. Specifically, 100 ft beds with 6 ft of spacing at each end to allow room for a harvest cart to pass. For JM, the more important consideration for spacing is the ability to easily maneuver a cart around the entire farm, rather than turning his BCS (which takes very little space). This is all covered in Chapter 4 (Designing the Market Garden) of his book, "The Market Gardener". Hope that helps! Thanks
