Terry, thank you for the overview its very informative, If I may, please allow me to chime in. Min 9:35, you can change the way the bar looks, it doesn't "have a mind of its own". Simply press the button which corresponds to a function on the bar (i.e., warm, red, green, blue etc...) and either pick a number to change the way it looks or press the "undo" button to turn that section OFF. The best out now!! I love it! The Flex Par Quad is perfect for washing the dance floor. The Trons are a mix of wash and eye candy and the Tri220 is mostly just eye candy.

I have had mine now for 2 months & only thing I wish it had was the prism effect & rotating gobos & still waiting for them to have in stock the prism look effect lenses that mine didn’t come with. Other than that I love it & have had nothing but compliments on it.

Hello Terry, This is a year old, I happen to own the fixture myself and yes I agree with you with it being a great light. I think it a little pricey for what it is. The remote is nice but could of been done better which I agree that the bar itself would be nice to separate each with more control. You know it hard to find a light fixture that will do what mobile DJ need and sometimes putting money into one until you own it then find features you wish would of been implement. I watched many of your reviews and I appreciate what you do. It helped me a lot with my decision on what to get.

I've ordered the washes from the jmazz series in a standalone version to go alongside my gig bar too I've also ordered the adj DMX operator do I need to download a DMX software

They should come out with a white version of this fixture for us Wedding djs and more wats on the moving heads at least 60 watts.

60 watts would make the movers considerably larger...which is probably why they opt for the smaller versions.

I’ve had mine for several months now and have had no luck with Soundswitch. The brightness of the bar is blinding, so I’m trying to tame this with the remote. The light is awesome but I won’t love it until I can tame it

Is the wireless remote with the JMAZ Versaflex an RF remote? I like the way the new Chauvet ILS has an RF remote. RF always works the best.

Lights up nicely but it's sort of an eye-sore. Very busy looking when not lit so photographers will surely avoid taking pics with this thing in view.

Case is adequate...better than Chauvet cases, never used the stand because I have a flex stand.

Moving heads of the gigbar ils is 32 watts compared to 22 of this.

Jmaz movers are 25w and keep in mind they came out BEFORE the ils bar.

I hve the gig bar, and only used it like 6-7x… one of the pars is already broken.. the moving heads are shit, def a waste of money.. not a fan.. the new ILS version looks to be way better..
