Tarp protects the tent from dripping pine sap. Used to hate getting that crap in my hair. When I had hair. Spent 5 rainy days on the Allagash once. Didn’t rain hard but it didn’t stop. Vicks Vapor for black flies.☮️

2023 crop of black flies will be very welcome, no really, looking forward to this coming season, maybe a few times out before they set in.
