It's so rare to see players sharing their juicy techniques. That's definitely the best way to see a beautiful community growing up, sharing.
@xDTHECHEMISTx7 жыл бұрын
Khan Kross i just reached out to arc system works and to them PLEASE dont nerf those cool techs. It totally separates away from the MVC crowd. Its unique. That's the good and bad on tech secrets now. You share it. Then others abuse it and then the noobs cry to have it nerfed smh
@DutchHeathen7 жыл бұрын
This isn't really 'tech' as much as it is an explanation of the core game mechanics. They won't nerf this, don't you worry. Tech is generally some little obscure thing that someone discovered and works in a specific circumstance (unblockables, for example). Also, I don't know much about how it is in other gaming communities, but sharing tech is what the FGC do. So yeah, not rare at all. :)

I don't think you mentioned that Sparking is more powerful the lower amount of fighters you have. When you only have 1 fighter left (sparking is at level 3) it heals blue health crazy fast and gives you even more damage. I think the Sparking icon even changes with to represent this when you have less fighters.

Excellent video with very important information! I do want to offer one small correction though. In the sparking blast section you mentioned calling an assist in order to do a crossup. Unfortunately, this game has cross-up protection from assists. If you call an assist and cross up your opponent, your opponent can hold back OR forward, and they will successfully block the mixup. The one single exception is Piccolo's homing assist. Once Piccolo has exited from doing his assist, you can use the homing orb to cross up your opponent. If he is still present, the cross-up protection will work as normal. Keep the vids coming man. I'm going to be linking these to my friends.

Specially because Frieza doesn't have many combos that deal insane damage, most of his just stay somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 (I think it's his penalty for having so many great tools to keep the opponent in different areas of the stage). @jameswunder43827 жыл бұрын
at 6:58, It's important to note that this game has crossup protection w/assists. The character itself can cross up with a button/normal but the assist can't crossup. The hit from the assist needs to come after the normal has hit from the point character.

For one, they won't be used by most people who play online or hard modes. Ah... And the depth starts being revealed layer by layer... This makes me happy. I've been having lots of conversations about the ease of accessibility this game has and it's left a bad taste in some people's mouths... But this is going to change that a bit. At the least it's going to show that whatever taste they have has a hint of an afterglow they did not expect. Some flavors grow on you. Some aromas need time to build in your glass to get it right.

@dio40882 жыл бұрын
Where was this video when i started playing? I was always asking myself how people call in level 3 and a lot of other things. I'm liking so others don't have the struggles. Thank you.

Yup. He probably said "number 4" or 6 instead of 5, and noticed when editing.

Didn't know all about the sparking! Thank you for this! Subscribed!

Thats not all. In sparking your overhead is special cancelable.

Just picked up the game and have been practicing and just nonstop learning. Hands down the hardest fighting game I have played. Thought it would be similar to Guilty Gear, man was I wrong. This game is something else and an absolute blast. Thank you very much for the help, because I honestly have no real clue what to do.
@MrMarko93807 жыл бұрын
Sparking also makes the universal overhead cancelable into any special move. Just accidentally found that out today.

That partner level 3 super is what ive been needing thanks!

So, what's the difference between reflecting Ki blasts/super moves and just blocking them? Total noob here.
@ZombieBoss19457 жыл бұрын
There is no chip damage if you reflect

Amazing! Thanks!
@SasoSasori-7 жыл бұрын
you don't get chip damage, it's kinda like parrying in Street Fighter III
@MrMarko93807 жыл бұрын
You don't take chip damage and you recover slightly faster I believe. Not 100% sure though, didn't test it extensively yet. Either way, it doesn't feel like its worth it.
@JayJayYUP7 жыл бұрын
Sure hope so, considering chip damage in this game is nonexistant, so a faster recovery would make it a worthwhile risk.

If I had known a few of these things beforehand, I would have saved a lot of nerves on some battles. Time to go to the training room and experiment. Thanks a lot!

for supers and special with really quick multi hits (ex: kamehameha/super kamehameha) do you have to constantly push reflect or can you press it just once?
@AngelsFGC7 жыл бұрын
PhantomPacker99 just once.
@boomboom68626 жыл бұрын
Have to mash since it's not a single animation that lasts until nothing is in its hit box, the animation ends once the arm is fully up. So to reflect constant attacks ya would need to mash.
@kami34496 жыл бұрын
Boom Boom you don't need to mash it all you need to do is press it once and it will keep doing it through the whole attack
@boomboom68626 жыл бұрын
Shishou Pierre You can literally hear him mash through the level 1 and the constant ki blasts.
@BojackUnb0und6 жыл бұрын
To be fair, just because he is mashing does not mean it is necessary. I'm not saying it isn't, because I haven't tried it.
