after all this time, its nice to see some American's taking uk rap and uk artists seriously, for years in the 80s we grew up on krush groove, beat street, RAPPIN, etc etc, we loved DOUG E FRESH, now until the internet came along , we started seeing random interviews on DVDs of certain rappers, we had no idea that SLICK RICK is British born from the U.K, south London MITCHAM, we had no idea, now when you look at a lot of old footage, a lot of Rappers have stated that SLICK RICK is their favourite rapper, being an originator of story telling on the beat.
