Thanks Antony! Haha, yes. Even when you think you are in a perfectly good place to dump a bale it can still go wrong! He didn’t have the X-ray in the end, vets want another couple weeks for the bone to calcify so it shows up on the X-ray better 👍🏼

Great content. Around here (Azores) we make them in early July and in early September the same pastures gives half the quantity of bales.

@@JMFarming This year it was great, but last year's July there was a bit of fog in the morning and the bales were a bit heavy, no mold though. The operation is pretty much the same. I'm not doing the operation my farm is to small to even own a tractor half the size of your JD, its the machinery of our island's agricultural association.. this year we had a nice improvement with a new Claas tractor (instead of an old New Holland) for the bailer.
