DO NOT REMOVE SAFTY TAB UNTIL IT IS INSTALLED THAT TAB WILL UNSPRING IT.. Save yourself ! Don’t remove it until completely installed before steering wheel

All scam comments so that you get more comments. I belive that helps. You are a life saver however just a quick comment is when you put the steering back on. It has to be centered properly so wat ch out for the marks on the steering wheel and the bolt it fits on

Can you please explain more how did you removed the Steering wheel, im following your video but the steering wheel of my nitro doesnt want to come out. I am new in this and i really dont want to breake anything more expensive. Thanks

Just unscrew the bolt. You will have to pull on the steering wheel. May need to rock it back and forth while pulling up on it. It should just come off...no special tooling is required.

If this part was bad would it cause my cars horn to go off while the car is completely off???

That is part of the reason i changed mine....plus the dash light were going haywire... unfortunately.. it happened again.. my horn started doing the crap again....i read endlessly about this situation and could never nail it down..the car was wrecked a few years ago... i personally think it is to do with the electronic key fob... i never proved it but one of my key fob went up bad and one time i picked up to key and the alam started gping bannans...so that was just a hunch..its up to you....good luck.

Could the clock spring be causing a car not to start because I've been having issues with my car and now it won't start everything is good but I haven't tried this

Probably late for this but could be ignition switch. Idk what you have tried already so sorry if im saying something you already tried. Check relays of course and if engine turns but wont start then could be fuel pump. Just so many things it could be

I watched another video on here and it was the connection at the starter. The guy switched out the connector and fixed it.

And the TIPM could be going out, too. Search for that. Process of elimination... I'm getting ready to buy a 2011 Nitro Heat so I've been watching a lot of videos.

I am looking for a new clock spring, but many part numbers come up. There are some with and without steering angle sensor and all of the listings say: 2007-2012 Dodge Nitro without electronic stability control. Is it not the correct part? My car has ESP

Hello, Was the new clock spring you installed a Mopar or a Crown part. I had my clock spring installed it was a crown part, but after the part was installed my horn stopped working. Please advise me. Do I have to buy the Mopar part. The crown part no is 5105106AD

How did you pull the steering wheel without a puller?

doesn't need one...steering wheel will come off with a hard yank once you unscrew the main bolt.

Can't get steering wheel off after removal of 1/2" bolt. SURE you don't need a steering wheel puller?? ...Okay! It came off with a tat of the "brute force".
