Do you remember the carved candles in the 70's/80's? Where they carved designs, and twisted those layers of wax, so multiple colors showed through? This reminds me of those. (Ya, I am that old) Beautiful!!

Well, that makes 2 of us! I grew up in Brooklyn & my parents had booths @ a flea market tl^😅¡¡@×@@!@ there was someone >em there and would sit there mesmerized as a dipset and over and over and over and different colors then we take a knife and cut it peel it down twist it and stick it down I know exactly the candles you talking about! THANKS for the trip down memory lane!

Gorgeous. I’ve definitely gotta give this a try. I agree with you and am also in love with this art form. I love mixing the paints. I totally forget my troubles when I’m painting. Only thing that’s not so fun is clean up. I make it hard on myself because I always seem to knock over at least one cup of paint. Ugh Thanks for your videos. You have taught me so much. At the beginning I thought what a strange combo of colors, after the opening of them on the canvas and tilting I admire the flows and blend and even felt pity that this glorious flow will be destructed by cells, then I thought I would stop when 4/5 of the canvas was covered with cells to keep the remaining of the original mild blend, and then you show the final result with wide opened cells and it is simply crushing!!! Fractals spiral!!! Absolete !!!! Thank you for sharing the technique and meditation)

I really liked the effect when you tipped the cup. Awesome. I did wonder from the front of the video picture how you got such unique, and evenly spaced cells. I liked the look after the spin, also. Wonderful colors! It was amazing how far one drop of cell activator on the tip of a toothpick would go. I think the therapeutic aspect comes for the almost hypnotic effect of the action. I don’t have a better way to explain it, and it doesn’t really say what I want, but rather than a stained glass effect, I felt more of a 70’s, tie-dye, snake skin effect. Still cool!
