New to the pouring side of painting and really want to start getting into it. Can I ask what the benefit is of using the torch across it? I can see it helps produce the bubbles, is it because of the floetrol mixed in with it? Also with your paint bottles do you keep them with the medium already mixed in? Thanks and love the video!
@fingerfeller2 жыл бұрын
the torch and heat is to pop the bubbles created by pouring and mixing, its not specifically used to create cells, silicone drops, or introduced in any fashion creates the cell bubbles, i am just now learning, and no the bottled paint is not stored with medium, i hope your enjoying what you must have been learning the past years. again ifyou have any tips for a newbie like me please feel free to share.

My gosh Olga! Thank you for showing us your technique using silicone! I especially loved the last one where you dipped the comb and created so many magical cells!! I’ve certainly been putting way too much silicone in my paints! Would you say the consistency of the paint you used in this video is the same as the one in your fluid mastery course but with silicone? I want to do a side by side experiment using your Soby Mix 1 & 2 and silicone to see how different the 2 techniques and recipes are in the finished results. Thank you!

Your works are fantastic. I love your straightforward videos. It's a pleasure to watch. Is it necessary to add heat to get those big beautiful cells? I heard someone say not to mix the silicone well into the paint. And I heard that silicone should be added to the base paint. Since you are the cell queen, will you please straighten me out on this? I'm just beginning and mostly wasting paint and canvases right now; staying hopeful I'll do better.
