Jolts are around $9 per piece, so that'd be $45 dollars, about. You can get like 3 Hammershots with that money.

Walcom, great review as always. I agree with you complaint about the groove along the side and reloading. I have a Hammershot with the OMW O-Tac Gear Hammershot S1 kit and the Maliang JN-01 Barrel. The performance of the Hammershot was improved by the S1kit, but reloading with the JN-01 Barrel on is a pain as you have feed them down the barrel.

"i really dont like the hammershot" *adds kit that makes a great blaster terrible* "oh, its better already!" The reason people like it is because of the single handed use, dont have to drop your primary to fire it. its easy to reload, even while you have a dart ready to fire. its small, can be easily holstered its reliable, it simply does not jam. ever. and the big one, Super easy to mod. can be upgraded to a 7-8 dart capacity, the stock spring can be spaced instead of replacing it. if you use half length darts, they can be double loaded which gives you up to 16 shots(with an upgraded cylinder, look up 16 shot Hammershot) it also looks great, obviously subjective. your argument for not liking it is that its not "pointable" :/ though i am curious how a longer barrel is helping to make your Nerf gun more accurate. foam darts dont work like real bullets XD you dont have to like it, and you are entitled to your opinion, even if it is wrong :P

I do like the sweet revenge better. More comfortable, better looking (though less detail). I like the 4victory more than that. I just don't really like the hammer prime blasters because the low rate of fire, limited capacity, and anemic performance doesn't really give it anything more than a fun factor. Which is fine, I like a lot of fun blasters that are terrible and I run many of them all the time in competitive scenerios: the problem was the BUY A HAMMERSHOT brigade that left a really sour taste in my mouth all these years.

Walcom S7 well, the capacity problem could be fixed with a 8 rd cylinder, slow rof could be fixed with a German kit to fan fire it, and preformance could be fixed with a aus turf 9kg spring

Walcom S7 eh, I like having a free hand to do things other than shoot. The Hammershot gives me that ability (plus a Stryfe is out because I hate flywheels). Also, my EAT covers the “high FPS slamfire” department better than a Strongarm ever could. Just my opinion

Most of them just have the same problem, it's a novelty that wears off on me pretty fast. They don't really tick the Revolver box for me because of the turrets always being at the front. I like the 4victory but even with a spring upgrade it's more of the same. Lawbringer is uncomfortable (as is the Negotiator), and none of them have real power. I like the Doublestrike because of how compact it is and it having two shots but the darts sticking out the front makes it hard to work with (which is why I have that FWI .50 barrel I made based off that one on Thingiverse), but those also don't have any power to them. Just not a fan, even though I'm a huge revolver fan in firearms.

I am surprised you haven’t done a review on the hellfire kit since it fixes a lot of things you don’t like about the hammershot and has a cool gimmick. Though it is expensive. I just thought I would bring it to your attention if you didn’t already know about it.

Hey walcoms7 :) I’ve found something interesting in some mods I’ve done. So interesting that I posted a vid about it onto KZbin. Worker 43.5 clear cage with black power worker wheels and cheap motors have higher FPS and are more consistent than using pricy motors with a 42.5 worker clear cage with the same wheels. Maybe you could replicate my findings?

I’m not interested in anything except getting some knowledge out there into the nerf community. A $26 cage wheel and motor setup getting 150 FPS average in a rapidstrike is affordable for all I would think. I dare say it would be higher FPS in a stryfe

Zackary i think one of the best primary/ secondary is the alpha trooper but no one really gives it a chance anymore because they would much rather have a pump action retaliator that does the same thing but that’s my two cents
