I stopped watching it thereafter... most idiotic imported authors get their share of sycophantic desis... and sell autographed copies... wonder if they sell them or give them away...whoever wants to read these modern outpourings of western/indo-western/lutyens influenced writers... ? nothing they say is anything new or smart... keep ranting the same old stuff... or some highly fake...theory. However, in this mangalore lit fest edition... they managed to put barkhadutt in a corner and she was seen/heard busy defending her actions of the recent past...and as usual insulting people in the audience who dared to ask her questions... she managed to shut them up after that...:-) :-)

Increase the number of Ayurvedic Colleges and quality of Education in them. We need to go a long way in building robust Institutions,Empowering Sanatana Culture and re-building our nation and a robust Economy.

I disagree with the Prof Rangathan. JNU and IIT gets approximately the same amount of subsidy, around 6 lacs. Can anybody disagree with the fact that IIT's are know around the world for their excellence, and JNU only makes the evening news for mostly the wrong reasons. If you pump 6 lacs per student into Mumbai or Chennai University, it will produce far more Pd's than JNU.

Mr tejasvi has to appreciate the fact that Savarkar was deeply impressed by Swami Vivekanand's ideas and all these concepts of intercaste marriage, reservation, anti casteism are all originally Vivekananda's. We must also remember Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had said in his Lahore congress speech that communism in India didn't come from marx- Lenin's works. It's not possible, to make communism, i.e. the great ideal of treating all humans equally, realisable, I think, by an Abrahamic mindset. Our Upanishads preach that there's divinity potentially in all things around us. To realise this is true communism. Vivekanand was the first to vehemently argue against the Aryan invasion theory and thought that they were indigenous. So the foremost thing is to read him in his entirety to occasion the decolonisation of the Indian mind.

listen to tejasvi speak with shashi tharoor in a panel that discusses internet shutdown... whereas the older guy speaks with emotion and highsounding vocabulary... surya speaks with a small amount of reasoning...and expert opinion (which he said came from his discussion with top police officers)... could tharoor not have brought similar reasoning...? given his global experience and many adult-years in politics...? no... he wont because he thrives in bombast... Also watch him debate one-nation-one-vote with a senior rajyasabha MP from bengaluru he is also some sort of IIM professor...again the older man talks with emotion and smug defence of the congress-I ... surya speaks far beyond his youth and inexperience... very less emotion and a lot of frank/politically incorrect talk... i think as older people we should encourage such plain speech from our youngsters...we should be proud of such people...
