I was on my Uncles ranch the first time Joel came to visit. Uncle Jimmy helped him and introduced him around Nashville.... he got me a try out for the opry and I got an enchore, which surprised me lol. Joel went on to make it big but I liked drugs more than music, I guess. Didn't realize how great Joel was until he made it ... sure miss him. RIP Joel.

Cush cush Ky Yay is another song?
@williamdean41017 жыл бұрын
Actually Mon Ami------"Cush" derives from the "War of Northern Aggression" (1861-1865) when Southern troops didnt have enough to eat and put together whatever they could find, "boil it down", and eat it. "Cayenne" pepper, found in most food outlets is "hotter than Hell"------put the two together and you have breakfast In today's world it is also a great weight loss supplement in tablet form. William B Dean,

Wasn't it first performed by Emmylou Harris? Ellis Hotel was released in 1975 but for some reasons, the song was only released as a bonus track to the album in 2004.
