@ben tumbling do not spread lies.. you are speaking from a negative perspective..yes there are those filipinos who live a shallow mindset of dressing up as social climbers... but to give you another side of why filipinos dress so is because of well-being.. my grandfather always said that it is one's responsibility to keep himself decently dressed and properly groomed because its how you show respect to your profession and how you value your job... it doesnt have to be expensive and its not about bragging status. never do it for show and for others.. its also a way you show respect to others that you dont meet them wearing trash the reason why filipinos take bath twice a day is because we are from an indo-malay culture.. all southeeast asians from indonesia, malaysia and vietnam take bath twice daily.. it stemmed from our early ancestors who lived near coastal lines, and rivers. who also do farm work.. hygiene is crucial between life and death.. and to control rising body temperatures due to humidity, a problem not experienced by western countires
