Koy described bobby to a T, the train analogy was perfect. And he was exactly right when he said bobby was ahead of his time.... And great goodly GOD I hope they sell their show, #1 because they both deserve it. And #2 because it would be something soooo hilarious and beautifully entertaining. Whatever the project may be, I hope I get to see it on one platform or another very soon.... Good luck to both of you legendary comedians, your work and art are greatly appreciated.

Behind the curve? Not at all, and any comedian in the business as well as fans of comedy in general would all agree that BOBBY LEE is not "Behind the curve". Regardless of what was said in that spinal tap interview. Specially right now, he's just now bubbling as BIG as ever. His stand up game and TigerBelly are the key ingrediants for that happening. I think Bobby is at the brink of Blowing Up bigger than ever, and he deserves every bit of it.

I spend my mornings with TigerBelly and Bad Friends whenever possible, the shit just cracks me up. I keep a smile through the whole podcast episode every time. And smiles are a rare commodity these days, this country is in such chaos right now and these podcasts kinda help me to block out the reality of that. Correct. She was right. Jo was not even close. "Gaslighting happens when an abuser tries to control a victim by twisting their sense of reality. An example of gaslighting would be a partner doing something abusive and then denying it happened. Gaslighters may also convince their victims that they're mentally unfit or too sensitive."

Jo doesn't understand the term gaslighting. He heard the word and made up his own definition to understand it in context. Khalyla is very correct. It's lying about reality in a way that makes you think you're the crazy one. It comes from the movie Gaslight, in which a husband slowly manipulates his wife into thinking she's going insane as the gas lights are dimming and she's hearing strange footsteps at night and he keeps lying to her to assure her that nothing is happening and everything is normal.
@goodegrief
@goodegrief 4 жыл бұрын
“The term originated from the 1938 play (and 1944 film adaptation) Gaslight, where the protagonist's husband slowly manipulated her into believing she's going mad. The name comes from a part in the film where the husband is using the gas lights in an upstairs flat, causing them to dim in his own.”

Uncle Tito. Bobby. Listen to Jo 31:00, im telling you. Sit in that belief even for just a minute. Even if you feel fucking dumb. Just sit in that desire, sit in that energy and feel it. Take yourself there mentally. The future you're wanting to create is like a under developed muscle. You have to exercise it, even when it doesn't seem like theres any growth happening. Simply just letting that thought resonate within you can do wonders. You are slowly magnetizing yourself to that future you're creating. Instead of trying to chase after just so you can touch it, wait for it to come by you and grab it and don't let go. Jo is so right about manifesting and attracting the desire. The Universe has a funny way of giving you exactly what you want the way you FEEL.

Bobby seriously cannot take a single compliment without him thinking it’s a sneaky diss or not a real compliment. That low self esteem defense mechanism is strong af 🙁 Bobby you are a wonderful person and have so many good qualities! Never forget that.

Jokoy is the top selling comedian on the road before COVID. He was literally solding out arenas and directly competing with musical artists in terms of tickets sold. I have been into 2 of his shows and he killed them those times. Glad to know that he and Bobby are actual friends and chemistry is top notch.

lol yeah Joe's face as Bobby is cackling aggressively. It's funny, cos' it was a very believable lie, Joe didn't really have much reason to not believe him, yet Bobby still obnoxiously bursts out laughing anyway. So funny xD

DHaile83 you got it right. Too many bobo fans are siding with him without understanding the nuisances of the convo. Joe likes Bobby as he is & says So. Bob instantly questions it and questions anything positive that comes his way. I get it’s from trauma, but the man is 49. At some point you gotta get over your own insecurities

Bobby is such a legend in the game, a true comedian that will go down in history, no one can copy and paste this type of humour and he is THE best at what he does, you can just tell he has earned his stripes in the comic world to the point were there really isn’t a comedian that doesn’t respect him in this space. He is truely a top level comic and everyone knows it, love that shit ✅💯
