The way Laurie looked at Jo in the last scene broke my heart completely. They really deserved to be together, and again, in the last scene that look he gave Jo was regret. Pure regret that he didn’t try to ask Jo to marry him again. Regret that he married Amy. The ending of the movie just really broke me.

I was so sad about their ending 🥺🥺🥺 I have nothing against Amy when it comes to her personality, but I feel like she took too much from Jo and got away with some other stuff. In the end, she took away the novel she was working on, she took away the trip to Europe, she didn’t have to go to Beth’s funeral because of that trip, and she took Laurie. I mean, at least give her Laurie. They had more history, they had a bigger connection, and Laurie proposed to Jo first. When he kissed Amy I thought it was as a last resort since he couldn’t have Jo and that they’d get married in the end since they missed each other but I was wrong 😢😢😢 anyway, nice edit. It’s slowly healing my heart :”)

I think that he didn't give up. Is like he said, he loves Jo, but the love he feels for Amy is different. And when they talked, he said that Jo would fall in love with someone and he would watch. They both 'move on", but there is still a feeling there, romantic or not, so things happened exactly like he said. (Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language)

When I saw the trailer, I didn't know anything about the original story. I assumed that Jo and Laurie would get together. But then when I found out they don't, I was disappointed. I wanted them together really badly. I think they would've made a really cute couple and they started as friends first best friends and they got along really well. Even though I haven't watched the movie, I was confused that Laurie ended up marrying Jo's sister Amy. He said he will never love anyone else if it's not her but he ended up marrying someone else anyway. I guess it was because he didn't want to spend his whole life pining for a girl who could never be his. But what he didn't know is she wrote a letter to him telling him she would've said yes if he proposed again. I wish he would've seen the letter. Maybe if he did, they would've been together. Now I'm not sure if I should even watch the movie because it would be too much torture seeing them together and knowing they don't end up together. 😔

I do love Amy and Laurie but hi and Laurie will forever have my heart because I know Amy had a hard time having Laurie love jo while sue loved him but really what jo went through is worse, Amy had it all handed to her jo worked hard she wrote and sold her story’s gor small amount even went to the extent of cutting her hair off to get money, she is the all together deserving sibling Amy albeit sweet took everything from jo, her manuscript , the trip to Paris and Laurie in the end. Everyone always say they Laurie truly loves Amy better than jo but what would he say if he found out he could actually have jo?
