The Aiki Dojo 2 Minute Technique - Jo-nage
In this episode of the Aiki Dojo 2 Minute Technique, Ken Watanabe Sensei, Aikido 6th Dan, Iaido 5th Dan explains the basics of doing Jo-nage or “throws using a Jo or short staff.” In Jo-nage, the opponent tries to take away or grab the Jo. This is different than Jo-tori where the uke attacks you with a Jo. This is just a basic video. Please let us know if you want us to do a full length video on any of these techniques.
