I watched Tsonga play at Wimbledon, and the stands were quite empty so I had a whole row to myself. He was losing and looked to the stands like "what do I do?" and since his coach wasnt there and I stood out having my own row, he looked at me. I motioned to play to the opponents backhand. For the next game he tried it, but still lost. Kinda funny that I coached Tsonga for a game.

Tsonga had one of the most powerful serve on the tour, one of the most powerful forehand and was one of the greatest at the net, his backhand was his only weakness as he wasn't that consistent in every matches, but when it was on, he was definitly a perfect player, Toronto 2014 run and AO 2008 against Nadal and Djokovic, and RG 2012 against Djokovic are enough to show and prove how good he could be. One of the best player outside the Big 3 + Murray

I saw Tsonga at the French in 2017. He must have been eager to get off court that day cause he went for winners on every ball he hit. The French crowd were trying to cheer him on to no avail. He is playing much higher percentage tennis in these clips. I still shake my head wondering what he was thinking that day. He lost in straights.

@@roninihanini Murray is 34 I think, so Nadal, Federer, Djocovic, Wawrinka, Delpotro and many otherr are part og this generation. Murray is an exceptional player, but he's not better than Nadal, Djocovic, Federer. He was equal in the big four's era (2010-2017), but he was not better and now due to injuries, he can't perform unfortunately on his highest level. @The Matrix Murray's career is better than Wawrinka's+Del Potro's+Cilic's. Murray was the most consistent victim of big 3 greatness.. in any other era he could've won at least 6-7 gs. Can't say that about either of Wawrinka, Cilic or Delpo.
