WDWG is the shortest title song to date. JO1's title songs have been getting shorter every year, and this is thought to be due to the characteristics of Japanese music programs. Japanese music programs, which used to be on almost daily during the heyday of J-POP, are now on a few times a week, often late at night, and are generally 30 minutes to an hour long. Since many artists appear at once, each artist can only sing for about two and a half minutes, and most of the songs are short versions for television. There is only one program at the moment where they can perform their full songs, and it is not a weekly program. In recent years, boy groups such as JO1 have taken advantage of this and chosen to sing short songs in full length. If the songs get shorter, it is inevitable that each person's part will be reduced, and with 11 members, each person will have an average of 13 seconds. Of course, it is important to have many parts, but the members' efforts are focused on making an impression with their parts as follows.

Nope. I don't agree. 'Shine a light' is having similar length & Venus which was one of their main promotional singles is almost having same length with 5 seconds difference only. Japanese music programs is not connected to main music releases in ANY form. Official releases are always with full length and specific performances are modified based on the programs. It goes not only with JO1 but also BMSG artists / TOBE / HYBE Japan and etc. I never said a thing about having MANY parts, I said it was important to have EQUAL chances for each and every member especially in title tracks.

6:09 Yes, I noticed Shosei didn’t really have much in this song and I was sad especially as a Shosei favorite (song with Syoya, Sukai, and Shion) 😭 But when he does get lines and that center time, he always nails it 👏🏼 It was really fun watching this with you, Ninia, as well as every Studio Choom performance with JO1 (and INI)! 😊

Yes I have 😂 I keep coming back and leaving (not you of course, just the comments) 😅 I’ve been keeping up with the Kpop comebacks since that’s the side I’m mainly on (xikers came back, SVT wil come back soon and Jeonghan enlistment 💔 ATEEZ, etc.) so there’s a lot going on especially irl 😭

I’ll try not to 😂 But yeah, sometimes I can’t keep up as much too despite them being my ult group (they performed at Lollapalooza for the first time too a week ago too) 😅 Jeonghan hasn’t enlisted yet, but he will on the 25th and I’m so sad… I’ll miss him a lot ☹️💔
