Here's some beautifully haunting footage of Joanie singing her masterpiece. I edited this together with clips from a great, crisp copy of the documentary/drama/romance/fantasy film "Renaldo and Clara," of which much footage was used in the new Rolling Thunder Revue documentary. I was surprised that "Diamonds and Rust" wasn't featured in it, as it's a striking recollection of Joan and Bob's fleeting relationship. Nonetheless, enjoy this gem while you can!

Joan gave this summer the definitive farewell to the stages in Madrid . Behind is one of the most incredible musical career and social commiment biography , from March for Freedom with M.L. King to the lead years in Vietnam , Cambodia ,Chile , Ireland , Argentina , Russia and Africa or imprisioned several times in her own country ... and always with a guitar in hand. On 2nd august Joan Baez Day is celebrated in Atlanta , Georgia , in honor of her continued dedication to peace and freedom .

What a song and phenomenal voice!!! It is the consummate heartbreak song at least from my perspective or perhaps most women’s. Great editing on your part. It’s the kind of song that is so beautiful that even though it is so painful you feel almost compelled to really listen but I think it’s just so truly authentic in the way it is written and delivered.

I found a page in Google where you can watch the whole Renaldo and Clara film, so far it's quite interesting but maybe a little bit dense or abstract, I don't know. You can watch it in 480p and without subtitles but you can understand almost everything they say. Would love to watch all the songs of this film released. Also great video as always mate

I had to explain to my 11 year old Niece what she meant by "a Booth in the Midwest." The idea of a telephone booth, she has seen them in old pics and Movies, didn't come to her mind. Funny how that works.
