The look Joan gives Lana when she first comes in. The smile. The recognition of the purity of voice she had then. The feeling of when she first wrote that song. I'm projecting, but this is so good.

never thought one day I'll see a video of joan baez singing with lana del rey ! this is amazing, lana had so much critic and a lot of people saying she would disappear at the end of 2012, but now she's singing with joan baez, sean lennon, adam cohen ! making amazing albums and selling with a small publicity. she's talented and it's undeniable ! she's now more confident in her live show and it's good to see it too, the woman has a gold voice !

I was in the pit with my daughter (amazing show by the way!) and no one seemed to know who Joan Baez was. Lana should have given homework to every one of her fans to learn more about the amazing life of Joan Baez and her absolute dedication to social justice way before it was cool. She was right there on the front lines when people were getting there heads kicked in for civil rights. Look it up- working with Martin Luther King, the Berkeley Free speech movement, the march from Selma to Montgomery, protesting the Vietnam War in 1964, and on and on. And no she hasn’t performed at Coachella but she performed at fricking WOODSTOCK! Please learn more about this iconic figure. It was cool to see such obvious respect between two great artists.

Great stuff. I'm older, so I appreciate Lana w,/Sean Lennon (that was gorgeous ), and here w/ Joan. How can anyone alive who loves music not know who Joan Baez is? When I wad young. I delved in2 roots of what I listened to. We're talking abt me at age 11. I listened 2 old blues. Jazz, country and folk. All the new R and R music I listened 2 got origin somewhere. Young ppl have a lotta crap 2 listen 2 today. Seems like young takent shows tho borrow alot from older music. I think dear Lana is better w/other more seasoned ppl, and will grow from that. I wouldn't have listened 2 her at all w/o a fab duet partner. So, to young ppl, go back and find out who influenced the artists u love. Betcha it's a lotta old farts like me. And that song is fabulous! And all about Bob. Thx 4 this clip. Peace

I also love the fact that Lana Del Rey is introducing new generations to such an icon!! But then i started to listen more and more to her beautiful music and god, i was captivated by her voice and her way to express her feelings. I can’t express how grateful i am to get to know this woman. These two btw. Lana has this special thing that is get so many legendary inspirations, like Joni, Cohen, Dylan, Jim Morrison.. and a lot of other talented people that i started to love more and more each day. And i gotta say i love them not because Lana loves them too, but she has chosen these wonderful artists to admire and that’s so magical and genuine. I am super proud of Lana to be singing on stage along with all of her idols, like Joan, Leonard Cohen and Sean, that shows how she’s getting the recognition of a real artist, a true icon who’s leading the music from past generations to this one, and it makes me so proud!
