Joan and Toni had the best fashion on Girlfriends I’ve always wanted to wear their wardrobe like their fashion was IT 😍😍😍😍😍

As much as I critique the show Girlfriends for all them being trash/not respecting each other’s boundaries, one thing I will say is the fashion is top tier lmao.

Girl I feel the same exact way lol I’m not really a fan of the show anymore but I love the fashion 🩷✨

Everything Joan wore can be worn TODAY, hairstyles and all.

Joan really put it onnnn babyyyy. the looks always did what they needed to do, and I never even thought about how her wearing her natural hair so big curly and beautiful was an homage to Diana Ross. you made a good point. lol I love how big and beautiful her hair was, it made me love my curls even more

Girlfriends may be a hot mess narratively, but the fashion was always on 10 from start to finish. You have to respect the hustle 😭.

I love that you're doing all of the older fashion breakdowns over and adding to them. Joan's definitely left out of conversations when it comes to fashion she was eating the girls up, her natural hair, body, confidence and looks were the best

I actually loved Joan & Lynn's outfits. 🥰

Joan and Toni were always my favorite when it came to fashion on Girlfriends. I like Joan could be dressed professional, sexy and casual and stlll could kill it either way.

Yes, she was so versatile and able to pull off any look.

Her wardrobe still holds up today. Her style was my favorite. She's still an icon, I love the balance of classic and whimsical, all grown and sexy. To this day, I carry clutches under my armpit like she used to. You could tell she was comfortable in her own skin.

I was so in love with Joan’s earrings. those big chunky gold hoops I need!! and I agree with how realistic they were when it came to rewearing pieces, most of the shows in the 90s/2000s did this. the fast fashion trends weren’t as rampant as they are today. People should watch shows like this for different ways to style their clothes, instead of spending so much money on trends every week. She is certainly a style icon

She had timeless fashion, ahead of the game!❤

Joan was so classy and sexy, it's not on you, it's in you. the pieces she wore were worn with such confidence and Tracee was always fly and still is. I still want her entire wardrobe

As a lawyer and black woman also, I admired how Joan rocked her hoop earrings with her work outfits. It worked for her. I haven’t been so brave yet.. 😂😂😂😂 Rocking my hoops at work just feels odd.

Joan Clayton was a big reason I started wearing Seven for All Mankind jeans in my early 20s. Costume designer Stacy Beverly was that girl!

I'm going to need bottega to relaunch that burgundy bag Joan wore in the 2000s, they really don't make clothes, bags or shoes the way they did back in the day. your stuff would actually last you. Joan's entire wardrobe is timeless and filled with so many different options

Joan’s fashion was on point! she came with the best looks and the body was bodying, Tracee really is that girl period though Edit: girl I love the way you edited this video. I forgot about some of the fits Joan wore. I just got some ideas to add to my fall collection lol

Something I liked about Girlfriends is that they didn't put down each other's hair like in Half n Half. It was so annoying to see Mona get trashed for her natural hair.
@meenalena06p468 күн бұрын
@@TokkiStar that is true but these is two different shows. So two different concepts but I do understand what you're saying.
