I stood next to Ms. Collins once in about 1995. She’s gorgeous but her makeup, even then, was very thick. I love her. What an inspiration.

Yes, I’ve met her or bern close up a few times. She is the most heavily made up person ever, but it suits her and it works!

Gloria Honiford is unwell. Whilst eating a burger in the East Belfast Silver Umbrella Hotel Gloria was badly stung by wasps due to a hive being disturbed by a window being opened. Gloria was escorted from the hotel by poison control and admitted to queen's hospital Dublin for monitoring. Please keep her in your thoughts.

Sadly, Nigel Hawthorne actually had pancreatic cancer and later in this year - 2001 around Christmas - he died of a heart attack.
