Got to see 'The Runaways' at the SF COW PALACE. The opening band was B52s and they got boo'd off stage 1/2 way through 1st song, and then Bill Graham brought out the 'Runaways' and they blew the crowd away. Both bands were substituted for the no-show Golden Earring.

It was on one of the famous Rockpalast concerts in Germany. They did this about two times a year. A few bands on one day. Made short concert highlights for TV that we’re shown months later in germany. That night on the bill in Dortmund: ZZ Top, Jethro Tull, Heart, Saxon and Joan Jett.
