Joan is a rock legend for sure. She always sounds great. But having the foo fighters as her band was killer.

Her and Dave rocking out on guitar together is kick ass
@stephenberson72367 жыл бұрын
Wow, four rhythm guitars compared to two sure makes a difference. Love this version. You can tell the Foo Fighters really enjoy playing this song especially with Joan. Most rock bands respect this song as a classic.

I don't know why people are saying anything negative about this, this was pretty close to perfect and this was live in a small studio!

Joan has always needed a great backing band! the Blackhearts are good but man listen to the energy with a band like the Foos!
@Lizrd469 жыл бұрын
scott sailer Sorry, but WTF are u talking about? Please explain.
@beamerstrumpet9 жыл бұрын
It needs no explaination. The black hearts are good, but with the Foo's behind her, it goes to a next level. You may not agree but hey its ok.

I thought the same...to me the original Blackhearts were the best...in the last few years...meh...but yeah the opening I was like whoa...
@grannysmith29248 жыл бұрын
+scott sailer so damn TRUE ,i mean look at the difference between this and with the blackhearts ,i think the first original blackhearts are much better then the new ones ! with the foo fighters it is electric !

Joan still sounds great live, at 53 years old. Dave sounds good live, but it's easy to hear who the the better singer is.

I was never into the Foo Fighters too much when they were popular, but since then, that damned Dave Grohl has impressed me. Everything I see him do is impressive, including his brilliant Ice Bucket Challenge video. And of course he's a Rush fan. To see him on the same stage as Joan Jett is like seeing Einstein come together with Ptolemy. OK, that's a totally shitty analogy. It's an amazing confluence of talent, THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYING.

Thanks for posting this. Maybe the single most blistering rock and roll video ever put on KZbin. When you look at either male OR female front "men"... in the entire history of rock and roll... Joan is in a class by herself. Nobody like her before and nobody like her since.

I don't care if you're a big UFC fan but can't stand the WWE or are a big WWE fan and can't stand the UFC - Either place which you prefer this is "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey's entrance at whichever you prefer heck if you don't like the UFC or the WWE this is just 1 flat out awesome song!
