@fundies23 жыл бұрын
@Tessmage Tessera I was actually going to say the same about Chrissie Hynde as that IS true. However she never sang with the range Ann sang. Not by a long shot. Her voice didn't change much because her singing style was not difficult. Her strength was that she had a style all her own. No one sounded like her. As for Benatar, she's still good but she has lost some of the strength in her voice as well as range. There are many videos here on KZbin from around the year 2000 on up that shows that she lost a some of what I mentioned. But she is still really good (one of my faves actually). Just not in Ann's league as far as retaining the near same voice from her 20s into her late 50s/60. So no, Benatar does not sound exactly the same as in her heyday.

What a gent Dave Grohl is, not trying to hog the limelight...and letting Ann and Nancy Wilson be the focus of attention. Indeed, drummer Taylor Hawkins is about the only Foo Fighter to vie for camera time with his animated and delightful facial expressions.

This is a really high energy song, fits right in with something the Foo Fighters would do, so Taylor Hawkins is a natural, just like he was for Alanis Morissette
