I'm here to learn it for my mom too! Her birthday is coming up and it was our girl power song on a cd we played during road trips, so I feel like it'd be a good gift for her. Here's hoping 2 months is enough practice time.

This is super cool! I'm a new guitar player and this is one of me and my mom's favorite songs of all time, and since her birthday is coming up, I think it would be a great present for her. I'll put my brother's sad, barely used electric guitar to good use with this!! 😊❤

Hey Marty, thank you so much for what you created for all of us here! I would love to learn some more songs from female artists, so I can start performing them without having to figure out how to transpose the riffs or use a capo. :) It'd be awesome to learn some more Joan Jett, Blondie, Heart, Janis Joplin, Pat Benatar, whatever you enjoy. :) Rock on!

love JJ, Jett started her musical career as a teenager, forming her first serious band, the Runaways, at the age of 15. The final line-up included Jett on guitar and vocals; Sandy West on drums; Cherie Currie on lead vocals; Jackie Fox on bass guitar; and Lita Ford on guitar. The band was ahead of its time in many ways, with its hard-rock sound emerging during an era when disco music was king. They also felt dismissed by audiences and critics because of their young age and their gender; the public didn't seem to know what to do with five girls who sang about sex, rebelling, and partying. The musicians' fashion choices also alienated them from mainstream fans; Currie chose to wear lingerie on stage, and Jett often appeared in her trademark red, leather jumpsuit. ....Rock On
