To learn to make a challah lol. Seriously and I am laughing at myself right now, I want to make some beautiful meals for the upcoming High Holy Days and I really have to tell you when you speak to us I feel like I'm in your kitchen as a friend. I am very grateful for your wise words and how you take the fear out of cooking these recipes that are so precious in our families. My Sis are all that is left. Everyone has passed and life is better with your help and I thank you for your efforts !

Hi Joan! It's me, Stacy again from FL. I tried the chicken soup you posted here on KZbin and oh wow better than my Grandma Gussie's ever was! My Dad made challah and I was never taught but you just did! I can't wait to return to my house and try this challah recipe out. I am finishing a contract in CA's Bay Area and then home for 10 days and will love to try out this recipe and I see that it looks pretty easy. I'm a patient person so what I might good up is the braiding but maybe it won't be

What is the weight of the 8c of flour? Depending on what measuring technique is used, the quantity of flour could vary by quite a bit. Or, which measuring method do you use (scoop & level, sprinkle into the measure & level, etc)?
