How this track only has 10k views when it and the whole album is pure genius is beyond me, love you Joan!

Beyond. Au delà. Transported. Further and further, you take us past and inside and deeper. Something sacred is happening here.

I had no idea this existed. I am a drummer and wanted to dive deeper into Tony Allen and this amazing recording popped up. Love it and will dive into this album.

A perfect song. Complex and moving..."what will you do with the rest of your life?" You are in a different league, Joan.

Easily one of the best albums of 2021-2022 (I'm placing it in 2022 since it came out in November '21). What an amazing collaboration that was captured here.

Yesterday evening’s concert in Helsinki/Espoo was absolutely wonderful. Joan is magic, and Parker Kindred a groove & taste machine. I saw JAPW every time a new album was released, since 2008, they just improve with time, like an amazing red wine. Joan can taste like the wine of the ages

What will you do? With the rest of your day? With the rest of your life? You don't know the sun will rise tomorrow And isn't it feral That we don't know how And we don't know when? The end's the only thing that we can count on Maybe it's luck that rescues us Or it may be sending my love to the mountains Handing my heart to The Revelator Will I ever get my bearings? Will I ever see? Got bandaids on my arms Flip-flops on my feet Head full of something Lost my mind Who is this creature In the mirrored sea? Looks a lot like me But I don't recognizе her eyes of thundеr Isn't it heaven We can start again Anytime anywhere? Oh, I just want to lose this standing water Maybe it's luck that rescues us Or it may be sending my love to the mountains Handing my heart to the Revelator Will I ever get my bearings? Will I ever see? Will I ever see? Do I even care? Does it matter?

There's not much interesting stuff around these days. Joan's reaching out and digging deep. Plus I love her luscious voice. I think the Thom Yorke treatment suits her well.
I hope you'll take the compliment, but this is reminiscent of the wonderful Jane Siberry❤❤

This sounds horrible. Reminds me of Yoko Ono.

Isn’t it amazing how art and tastes are all subjective. Isn’t it also amazing how one person’s opinion, no matter how important they think it is, means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. This song sounds “horrible” to you. Ok. It doesn’t to me. It also doesn’t remind me of Yoko Ono’s work. I’m a fan of Ono’s Feeling The Space and Approximately Infinite Universe. I’m assuming, maybe erroneously, that you have never heard those records are just another one of those sheep haters that judge the work of a person they have never really consumed. Ok.
