She is definitely "Queen of Comedy".........what multiple talents she has. Joan Davis is a one of a kind, the best comedienne ever throughout her career in films and TV.

Jared, this was one of my mom's favorites and we watched it together before CBN sold their Family Channel Network (thus the owners now don't play these good wholesome clean shows)

Yes she really had everything. She was a genius. Physical comedy like Lucille Ball, facial expressions like Vivian Vance and energy like Carol Burnett. I don't know why she was not so popular like Lucy or Carol. I think Joan and Ann Sothern were very underrated in the field of comedy even if both of them were truly geniuses.

I think the reason that I love lucy was a popular and well known tv show before I married Joan made its debut. Lucille Ball had more starring roles from the 1930s to 1950s before I Love Lucy. I Married Joan would can come off as a copycat to I love Lucy. Most of the episodes of I married Joan was recycled from I love Lucy episodes. Don't get me wrong Joan was funny in her tv show and she will always be known for her comedic roles.

@@Michaelahol Joan was a natural with all her facial expressions, acrobatics and overall comical way she delivered her lines. Lucy was very good but just too pretty and very glamourous to be as funny as Joan.
