My god this is staggering. All time favourite album for the last 17 years. It's such a shame that more people have not had the opportunity to view this. Ys was an unbelievably rare intersection of significant personal events (for the writer) who was also reaching the zenith of her song writing, instrumental and vocal capacity. The only two albums I can liken it to in this respect are Van Morrisons astral weeks and bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde. If I could go back in time and see any of these moments in the flesh, it would be this one.
