Hey My Sweet Friend, I got busy and forgot to post my pic yesterday, but will today. These are a little time consuming, but what else have you got to do, there's always time for crafting. The whole trick to these is not bake them, let them air dry. I put them outside on cooling racks or cardboard. Check on them, flip them over and let the back side take a turn to air dry. I still have the very first ones I made over 20 years ago. Try it Friend, you are amazing!!

I started my channel 5 years ago and have struggled. It seems that other monkey channels feel like they should be the only monkey channel and unfortunately they are not very nice. I love these Joanne. My granny taught me how to make these when I was young and then when I had kids I taught them and when they had kids I taught my grandkids. Hi Kimberlee, Thanks for watching!! The key to your ornaments not cracking is letting them air dry. If you put them in the oven they swell up and lose their shape. The best thing is putting them outside to dry during the hot days of summer. Happy crafting Friend ❤️

Hi Denise, you can use glitter, (love that you are a glittery girl, me too!!) There is a slick paint that is called Diamond. You can brush it over your ornament and it dries clear but leaves glitter over your area where you apply it. I like them to look like cookies so I don’t paint the back.

Thank you Barbara, appreciate you Friend!! Our Ranch is non active as far as cattle and horses. We are a Wild Life Preserve for all kinds of animals, deer, wild turkey, and lots more. We also have a big pond stocked with bass, catfish and turtles. It sits on 14 acres but still lots of work to maintain. Our new place is low maintenance and I will have more time to craft and do the things I love to do. Yes, Erick loves IKEA and I love the drawers. Have a great day Friend!!

Thank you Rhonda, appreciate you!! The Santa and Angel ornaments are about 5 inches tall. My cookie cutters are old, the Santa came from Hallmark and the Angel was from Walmart. I had a viewer tell me she found both of them on EBAY. I love them, in fact I just make some of both this week to take to a Fall Craft Show my Church is having this Saturday.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how smooth these came out. Every time I have done these with my kids they are really textured and not in a good way.... 🤣. I can’t wait to try your recipe and make some beautiful new ones! As always, thank you for sharing this incredible project with us! I really love watching your tutorials and I have watched a few multiple times! You are extremely fun to watch too - I enjoy the fun, easygoing way you film with your son! Take care and stay safe!!! A few questions... how long do you let them air dry before you paint? I live in South Carolina and its typically hot and humid here... I don’t want them to crack and you replied to another viewer explaining that putting them in the oven is a way to make them crack so I definitely want to avoid that! I am really excited to be trying a few of your projects. I hope to do a few of the styrofoam projects soon! And finally, do you recommend only acrylic paint or would chalk paint also work? Thank you so very much for all your help, you are truly amazing and so extremely talented!!!!

Thank you Nicole, Appreciate you so very much Friend!! If it's hot outside I would put them on cardboard or cooling rack during the day, flip them over on their back side after several hours. You will know when they are ready, they will be hard and not soft to the touch. So leave outside for the day, paint them the next day. Yes, chalk paint is great to use on them. Let me know how they turn out. I have a group FB Page where crafters share pictures and ideas of their creations. Several ladies have been making and decorating some dough ornaments.
