I've had this keyboard for a couple of years now. My only complaint is no per-key lighting. Other than that it's still working great and I don't really have any complaints.

If u have issues (Driver not working): -install it on C: -restart after installing -downloaded the driver from the roccat website? -unplug the device an put it into another usb-port (the localdriver will install again) -followed all instructions given by the driver? -still issues? Install the driver again Took me 2 hours because of issues.... Im not the only one. Hope i could help u :D

another pro (or con .. depending on the user) is that the Roccat Isku FX is fully compatible with Alienware pcs and the AlienFX lighting software, so the keyboard colors coordinate with the coloring scheme of the cool lights on Alienware laptops and desktops !

I like how you do quite a few keyboard reviews as I'm more into keyboards than the average person myself. One thing I am looking for with online reviews is attention to detail, and that means being able to criticize every single product because no product is perfect. I haven't watched all of your videos yet but some random keyboard stuff other reviewers often neglect to mention: Nonstandard space-bar sizes which make swapping them out hard, leds on a backlit keyboard positioned below the switch meaning quite a few keycaps won't work, Ducky YOTH vs Mini - the build quality differences, caps lock not lighting up unless it's on, compatibility with standard aftermarket cases, etc. That would be my suggestion: to be very critical of every detail, and I think that will help you differentiate from all the other reviewers out there. If every product seems perfect, the consumer still has no idea which "perfect" keyboard to get! Good luck on your channel, Joanne.

I will write my opinion about this keyboard. I hope it helps anyone who is thinking of buying it. When I bought this keyboard I was surprised by the good quality of the board. Unfortunately I was very disappointed by the quality of the keys (how I press them), the LED lights on them and the software. The lights are very dim, to some the lights are not a priority, but since they are included with this keyboard. The keyboard also contains macro buttons, media buttons and volume buttons which are not light up like the rest of the keys. The software is very slow and sometimes unresponsive making it hard to do things. Also the Caps wasn't working and I had to use the software to fix it -_-. I had this keyboard for a week and I gave it back to get something better at this price. I don't recommend this keyboard if you are looking for something good to use for gaming. If you want a keyboard that has features like lights, macro buttons, media and volume buttons and it is quite this is the right one for you.

I'm Tyler :3 I've tried mechanical.Overrated IMO. My Steel Series duplicates key presses, my text ennds uup looking liike this.So far really enjoying the Roccat Isku, the keys have a really nice feel.

The packaging shows a large return key, but the actual keyboard has the single height return. If you want the large return, how do you avoid getting the "standard" US layout?

When I go to the Roccat site, the only thing I can download is the driver and a program called Roccat Swarm that does not have any of the features that you showed in your video. Hey Joanne, I love your reviews. Have you ever tried out the KBC Poker 2 60% Keyboard? I have the Mx brown version of this keyboard and it is great! I thought I was going to miss my number pad but I hardly ever used them or the media keys. You should check them out. Plus they are highly customizable and you can even solder your own color led's.

I probably won't get this one, but I was considering getting one of the cheaper roccat ones. I was thinking the ryos Mk glow, because my whole build is blue and so I don't need multicolor LEDs

Does anyone know how to put text with capital letters on the macros? When I want to record my test as a macro the keyboard only complains that I am not allowed to use shift when recording.

You might like that one better or the more recent G19s. Mine has a removable wrist rest, 18 macro keys (tooo many), a dedicated switch for the windows button and a very nice volume control wheel. I like the Roccat keyboards control for the colours though.

Joanne - not raging on you but talking about hardware and telling me what i can clearly read out of a manual does not really qualify a "Techie" Can you please talk about operating systems and how you could update, fix, avoid, patch, configure and build PC's using windows, ubuntu, redhat, Mac, Fedora & BeOS I think it would give you channel much more viality !!! Guess how many time I have watch this video... 9 times! I have watch this video 9 times. I dont know if this is some Sean Murray tricks. But everything you say does not make any sense with the keybaord I am typing on right now. The stupid SHIFT or whatever you call that button does not even work! We have the same keyboard. I kidd you not! But the button I am pressing and the button you are pressing does not give the same result. So I dont know what kinda drugs you have put into your keyboard. PLease send me some. Because the keyboard I have right now which is "Roccat ISKU FX" is not mimic the same effect. So some one here is manipulating with something here..
