What clay is best for life sized* or close busts ? I have no kiln just a regular kitchen oven. Air dry is best but I also do not want a messy clay, I want very clean lines/ fine lines. I will be new to all of this but I also have a small knck of caricature drawing and natural drawing. Please let me know whats the best clay I sure would appreciate it! Will be watching your videos, ty.

I know how to sculpt but all my sculptures have been done on plaster head moulds before, and now that I would like to sculpt again I don’t know how to do the wire skeleton that will support the clay. Would it be possible to enlighten me on that part? I know we can use wire and aluminum for some. In this video could you tell what are you using? And I would like to sculpt a full size (human) character of mine. But I have no idea how to make the wire or how to create the skeleton that would support the all, do you have an idea? Thank you for any infos or advices.

Popsicle sticks, spoon, knife, sponge. Piece of cardboard cut into same shape as her metal scraper, a fork. A comb, a wooden spoon for a paddle, tongue depressor with ends cut to a v shape an filed with a nail file, a toothbrush. Use your imagination to make tools. Cheap sets of sculpting tools can be found at any hobby shop, on Amazon, even in $ stores in toy section. At the book store of university
