I started panic buying when trump got elected and I thought of the price increases from the tariffs he wants, then the Joann’s closing just sent me over the edge, I’ve spent SOOO much, but I’m happy because I missed the deals when AC Moore closed and they where the best.

I bought a bunch of Big Twist yarn as well. I’m working on a large project this year with Big Twist Living and figured I might as well stock up now before in case it won’t be there when I need it later. I also grabbed some Vortex in the Northern Lights and Mountain Mist colors for a poncho. I also went overboard on their value yarn 😅.

I had time before my daughter's doc appt this morning and Joann's is across the street ish from her eye doc, so of course I ran in. I picked up some Menagerie in 3 colors. My daughter was picking on me so bad. I said if they go out of business I don't know what we're going to do this is where we buy 98% of our craft stuff. Then she started to panic, because she remembers when AC Moore went out of business. She misses AC Moore as much as I do. I love Tom Petty, he's up there with Stevie Nicks.

@ I don't like Bob Dylan either. There is some childhood trauma involved with why I don't like Dylan or the Beatles. I appreciate them for their talent and their impact on the music industry. Just listening to them makes my skin crawl.

I went to Joanns yesterday and most yarn was not even out. I am having to order and pick up orders now. It looked like a prison with minimal lights on and very few workers. It was depressing.

Oh no! I had a little footage of this store but it wasn't very good since I kept trying to avoid people but this one was much nicer maintained than the last one I went to!
