G.E.D. Math, how to use this playlist

I just took my math GED test today and failed by only 3 points... so now I'm watching your entire playlist in hope of finally understanding everything I need to know. I left high school in 10th grade when I was around 16. I'm 25 now so I've pretty much forgotten most of this stuff by now. Really hoping I'm still able to relearn all of this

The GED playlist can help you, but the biggest help would be to watch the algebra 1, high school geometry, and Algebra 2 playlist. I know that that is a lot! But maybe you can skip the ones that you definitely know. If you can get through at least the algebra 1, you'll know how to factor polynomials and that will really add to your points on the test. I have included some Algebra 1 videos in the GED playlist. Maybe just watching those will help? Try to watch every video in the GED playlist. All you need is to pass by one question and you've got it. Keep trying! Stay determined! You're so close. :-)

@@JoAnnsSchool Thank you. I've saved the algebra playlists as well and have a whole notebook ready for taking notes. My biggest issues on the test were slopes and word problems but you explain everything very thoroughly so I'm sure your videos will help me pass my retest. :-)

These videos will help you pass the GED if you pay attention. And you need to go along with the book. But, if you want it Ace the GED and get a top score, then my advice is to watch this playlist then watch my algebra 1, Algebra 2, and high school geometry playlist. If you watch those three playlist you will score higher on a college placement test when you're going to college you may not have to take remedial classes. I wish you luck! Do your best! Yes, it should, but it depends on how much you remember from high school. If you're very rusty, you should watch this playlist, then watch my Algebra 1 playlist followed by my Geometry playlist. Work with the GED book from Steck-Vaughn that goes with these lessons. For Algebra and Geometry, you can just watch the videos or to really know how to do it to go to college you can buy the books online. Have determination and you can ask me for help when you're stuck. :-)

Hello going through your ged playlist now! I've taken the ged math portion 5 times and failed by 6 points once then 5 then 2 points the other 3 times. So I started at the beginning and working my way down. Can you please provide me with the links to the books I need to by the work through? Thank you so much.

I'm really having trouble with slopes coordinate plane and fuctions Is everything I need to know in your ged playlist for the ged or do I need to also watch the other playlist on your channel? @@ashelonharrelson8960 , those topics are in there, but if you want to go deeper into those topics you should scroll through the algebra 1 playlist and watch those chapters. You probably don't need to watch the entire playlist. Most GED books just lightly cover the topics. I think the problem occurs when there's a problem in the GED test that is a little different than what you're used to seeing in the GED books. It's almost like knowing how to install a window in a house, but you don't know how to install large plate glass windows in a high-rise. They both involve installing windows, but one is much more detailed and needs more skill.
