Miz, I've been watching you for a long time and you usually make concrete, sound points. Why are you so against Felix coming in? Look at our current options in attack - a lot of them are either still unproven/inconsistent (i.e. Madueke, Mudryk, Guiu) or heavily injury-prone (Nkunku, Neto) or just bang average (Dewsbury Hall, Nico Jackson). Surely Felix is an experienced baller that can provide great competition and fill in when either Nkunku or Neto get injured, all the while forcing Madueke and Mudryk to step up? Imagine Felix and Palmer combining with some beautiful 1-2s. Finally, we won't just have to rely on Palmer and Nkunku for creativity so it takes the pressure off them too. All round W this signing

Don’t doubt players untested (Dewburry) and rating average a player like Jackson who scored 17 goals in his first season without penalties is naive. Felix didn’t score even up to 4 goals and missed several chances. If he’s so good, Barcelona would have retained him. Chelsea should not pay more than market value for Felix. The difference is Madrid slowly implemented young players into a system that was already solidified with experience and added the pieces one by one so they fit together nicely. Chelsea had a system that was already in decline sacked Tuchel just threw a bunch of youngsters and brought in managers one by one and said make it happen, Chelsea could definitely make something happen but either it’s going to have to click or it’s going to take sticking to one manager.
