@Gray Fox Hi. I don’t think so. It is good to have certificates, but they are not equivalent to a degree.
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
@Gray Fox EU passport definitely is helpful and you don’t need visa, just fill out some online form before entering Norway.

Hi, I am greatly impressed by your videos and way of talking. I am from Pakistan and want to come to Norway for my Ph.D. in social sciences, typically political science. I have grade B in my master thesis as well as grade B marks in exams. I have two research papers, as well as more than a hundred online certificates from some of the World's top universities on Coursera and Future, Learn sites. Kindly assess me on my position as I explained as I have a better chance to get an academic position in Ph.D. there or I need to publish more papers in order to get the position.

Hi. Just apply for couple of positions and see how it is going. Usually it may take about 6 months before you know the results.

Is Norwegian language important to work in Norway or not? Will employer hire English speaker.?
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
Norwegian language is extremely important. Of course there is a possibility (10-20%) of getting job in English, most likely it would be for PhD, Data science, data analytics, web design, etc.

Ivanna, my university I applied rejected me and chose a guy who did Msc in Norway and is currently working in Norway. Is this an advantage for him over me? What should I do to make my dream to Norway come true?
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
Just keep applying for another positions. PhD in Norway is a job and therefore, not always you can get your PhD from the first try. Good luck

@@IvannasNorskLife yes, I should learn some Norwegian along the go... now not many positions are opening. When you applied for the PhD position, did you get any publications?
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
@@nguyettoleanh9288 Yes, I had three publications and two master’s degrees with A grades for both theses. And average grades for one master’s degree was B, and for another one A.

@@IvannasNorskLife do you think networking is a way to get to Norwegian universities? I mean they prefer people who they have known
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
@@nguyettoleanh9288 I would say that it is a large part of Norwegian culture. I cover this aspect in the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGTahIuBoJuhd7s

Hi maam, Sorry its not a question about this video. After masters having a gap is fine for applying for PhD? But i was kept myself updated by assisting some people in the Field of my subject. Please guide Thank you
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
Ph.D. in Norway doesn't depend on when you graduated your Master's, so it should be fine. The main focus will be set on your grades and skills.

Will the company can apply the visa for you?
@IvannasNorskLife3 жыл бұрын
No. You need to apply for a visa by yourself. You would need to ask your employer to fill out a specific form, which will be submitted with the rest of your documents by you.
