As a man who loves some bass, can I just say how thrilled I am with the prominence of the bass on the new tracks?

That Bass tone and these bass lines are soo fckn juicy! Amazing stuff. One of my favorite albums of all time

God, I love this. They've evolved so much since DOOM... my middle/high school self loved it, but listening back eh... not so much. Ever since Genesis they've gotten better.
@TheGrimSniperD28910 жыл бұрын
Agreed, death metal JFAC>Doom era JFAC
@spectriaofficial6 жыл бұрын
Ironically enough yes… but here they evolved TO "doom" for this opening piece of music on the album in the other sense of what the word means for metal. Hahahahahah. Doom metal VIBES at the very least all over this shit. I think it mostly comes from the really… foreboding sense of feeling you get from the note choice.

Wow, great compositions on this album. Very musical and brutal at the same time. Very proggy !

You guys should release large back patches for jackets and such... Keep the art of wearing band back patches alive! This logo in a circle back patch would be sick!
@rhmh_dc464610 жыл бұрын
This. I'd totally make another battle jacket just to wear this as a back patch.
@crispy8con10 жыл бұрын
That's such a good idea! I haven't worn any band patches since my punk rock days
@JuanDeag22810 жыл бұрын
vests with patches are disgusting, I think printing many band logos on a shirt or hoodie is a much better idea

Honestly man you fucking wrote a masterpiece of bass with these two songs in specific and the rest of sun eater as well. Beyond who can cram more tuplets into a measure faster this album really stands out with true compositional prowess like a tech death equivalent to Rush. With that said i think i speak for everybody when I say please make another album with job for a cowboy as soon as possible we need more.

First time listening to you guys but I have to say im impressed. Definitely fits in with what i like. Im getting vibes of Cynic, Pestilence, and Atheist. Does the band name have a meaning or is it a quote from a movie or something?
@igneekin870310 жыл бұрын
It was quote made by one of the original members, one of the dads of the guys was a rancher and they worked for him or something.

Im actually getting vibes similar to the opener to the new Dark Fortress which is weird... And I actually like this song more than that one. Then again the second song on that record blows this one out of the water

if bands stayed the same all the time they become boring and stale. It's great to sound a little different than their old music it still sounds like Job For A Cowboy just a progressive sounding version. it sounds amazing!!

I got called a satanist for listening to this and watching this video just because of the goat skull........ WTF
@thugger21768 жыл бұрын
The burning pentagram behind the goat skull also gives a satanic feeling even tho this isn't true satanic music no church in the right mind would play this song during service lol

I like it but I prefer the more aggressive sound of Genesis or their last album.
@Rodski1010 жыл бұрын
I can't say I'm a fan of how predominant the bass is in the new album. It sounds awesome, but in my opinion it distracts me from the rest of the music at times.
