MISSING LINK is the animation movie by Chris Butler.
PLOT: Tired of living a solitary life in the Pacific Northwest, Mr Link, who is 8 feet tall and covered in fur, recruits fearless explorer Sir Lionel Frost to guide him on a journey to find his long-lost relatives in the fabled valley of Shangri-La. Along with adventurer Adelina Fortnight, the trio encounters their fair share of peril as they travel to the far reaches of the world. the issue i with the more resent laika films is that the animation is TOO smooth to the point it almost feels like computer animation, and it almost defeats the point of it being stop motion, i loved the rough feeling of the frames on the face in the other films, it added a charm to it.

To be fair you could just make CGi, get rid of interpolation and animate with few key frames and then you just get stop motion, which would defeat the point of being CGi

My only problem with this is that the bell he put underwater is attached to a drone, and not the part that puts out individual notes, yet it's putting out individual notes underwater instead of droning.
