People seem to not realize that the character in this movie is based on Trump in the 70s and 80s. Watch the interviews he did at that time. He sounded different back then - more reserved. The storyline of the movie is Roy Cohn’s influence on the evolution of Trump’s personality.

He spoke more softly during the beginning of the film & then slowly turned the New York accent up as he aged (as another has stated, Trump spoke VERY differently from the 70s to now) Christopher Walken & Trump are around the same age & grew up in the same neighborhood. If you compare their accents & inflections of their voices, it's kinda spooky how similar they sound Stan did a great job as Trump, but Jeremy Strong's Roy Cohn was a friggin masterpiece. It’s interesting, that as a women I can recognize that realistically even if someone showers you with flowers, gifts and kind gestures that you DIDN’T ask for, you owe them nothing. That being said we as women have been CONDITIONED that if someone showers you with gifts and kind gestures etc that it’s only “polite” to “give them a shot” we almost feel like we OWE them even though in truth we owe them nothing, it’s THEIR choice to do all those things, not ours. Just because someone does all these things- you owe them nothing ladies. Don’t be fooled. Just because they do these things to get you to give them a shot doesn’t mean that is who they are as a person, they could easily be a very rich “pick artist”.
@aesop14513 күн бұрын
A "rich" pick up artist is maybe making 100K to 150K a year where he uses his money as a means to an end (picking up women). That's not the same as being a billionaire real state investor. Ivana was a businesswoman, model, and socialite. Eligible bachelors are not showering 32-year-old unhappy accountants with flowers or trips to the Swiss Alps.
