Roy Cohn Death Scene | THE APPRENTICE (2024) Movie CLIP HD
Watch at home now: www.theapprent...
A young Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan), eager to make his name as a hungry second son of a wealthy family in 1970s New York, comes under the spell of Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), the cutthroat attorney who would help create the Donald Trump we know today. Cohn sees in Trump the perfect protégé-someone with raw ambition, a hunger for success, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win.

In the movie he finds out the cufflinks have fake diamonds in them and he went from a shark attorney to weakened and near death. In the movie Donald had already greatly surpassed him and got new legal teams, he only did this in the plot because he feels bad for not wanting to be around him especially when it's implied he has AIDs. After Roy died in the movie his room he stayed at for the party is cordoned and all the stuff he touches was burned.

He should’ve been most proud, he created a bigger MONSTER… Even in that moment, he didn’t admit to his mistakes, and wrong doings. He never had a family and had no children, but he was proud of donny like his own. I’m surprised he said “SORRY” when he was leaving the dinner. His mantra was never say sorry, never admit, never apologize, never be rueful… just like trumppy. And these people have the nerve to expect apologies from other people that have not done anything wrong to them personally.

(And that's just touching the top of the iceberg) Now, there's no problem. Have a little delight in what you accomplish. But Trump definitely goes overboard. And you know it. Also, the fact that you are judging him by saying, " he's a terrible person," is something that Jesus did not preach. It is said to love One another. I know it doesn't match the timeline one to one, and Vader never met Plageuis but whatever. And then Barron Trump, we skip universes and he's Paul Atreides/Lisan-Al-Gaib. Remember that Al-Gaib becomes a tyrant later in the Dune novels. Pence is an Imperial Officer who was close once on the dark side and then force choked by Darth Trump-Vader when he rebelled. So now the current lead Imperial Officer is JD Vance. Right now Trump-Vader is trying to use the Death Star laser to destroy Alderaan (Mexico), invade Greenland and Panama (planets Dagobah and Endor) with star destroyers and then wants to take over Canada (which is a cross between Hoth and Naboo).

They took this from an anecdote told by Charlie Sheen on Graham Norton. He said that Trump gave cufflinks to him and told him that they were made of gold or something like that. In a New York Times report, after Cohn’s death, Cohn’s ex-lover said that he believes the cufflinks were knock-offs and were neither real diamonds nor from Tiffany. However, Abbasi could not confirm whether Cohn was aware of this when he was alive. “I don’t know. But I’m also thinking these are very, very intelligent people. Roy, he’s no stranger to luxury. Now, in the movie, we wanted to dramatize it. The way it’s revealed is through Ivana. But I don’t think Roy necessarily needed Ivana to tell him what’s a fake diamond and what’s not,” Abbasi said. “This is a guy who has been living in luxury. So I can just imagine that it wouldn’t be very difficult for him to know.”

I only know of Roy Cohn from Angels in America, I had no idea he was Trump's lawyer, absolutely disgusting. Now I understand why I haven't heard about this movie. I'm glad our Romanian boy was nominated for it, I hope Hollywood did it cause they appreciate his acting not just as a political stance, even though I hope it's both ❤.

Never forget, no matter how badly this movie attempts to portray Trump, until 2015 Hollywood, liberals, politicians, and everyone else who seems to hate Trump now loved Trump back then. He was an American icon who was in movies, television, and was glorified on just about every talk show you could imagine. Democrats took his money for their campaigns and wanted to be seen with him at all costs. His books became best sellers and were praised by the left wing media. Then one day in 2015 he came down an escalator and the rest is history. They’re all fakes and Trump has pretty much been the same guy you see today.

Up until then, he was charming people, to earn their trust, and then he attacked, just like a SNAKE that he is…

Sebastian Stan is amazing in this. I found the cake very symbolic. Rumours abound that Trump might stand for office. The cake is presented to Cohn upside down which is a massive faux pas, I feel. It's upside down and surrounded with sparklers, like it was on fire. Cohn realises that Trump will not only use everything he has learnt in business but politics too. He breaks down and cries. Cohn realises he's created a monster. It may not have happened like this. But here we are in 2025, and the USA is going to the dogs.Trump must have learnt from someone.

So I guess Biden to already bring USA to yhe dogs these past four years? We're just gonna ignore that, as well as the fact he pardoned legit criminals??? Trump is not a saint but lets not pretend Hollywood and other powerful figures don't have it out for him and mind you, this was right before the election so they were hoping a movie like this would make people not vote for him..........guess it didn't work.
@spyox04
@spyox04 12 күн бұрын
I don't think the cake and Cohn crying has to do with anything political regarding the USA, this is a more personal moment. My interpretation is that Cohn breaks down in tears when he sees the cake has sparkles, not candles, which means he cannot blow his own candles and that was made on purpose since they were afraid he would spread his AIDS disease on to them (which btw is not possible through saliva), plus trump gave him false diamonds in a way to say he was not worth real diamonds since he was just a sick dying man. At that moment he realized they didn't regard him as an equal and nothing was a genuine gesture, it was all pity.

I heard the GOP did everything they could to prove Biden was a criminal, including hiring fake witnesses to lie in Congress and sending his son to jail on drug use and illegal possession of weapen and failed utterly to link any wrong doing to President Biden. I hear the GOP even started an impeachment process on Biden BEFORE they had any evidence to impeach him (leading to amazing moments where the witnesses had to state in the hearing that they had no impeachable evidence against Biden). So, until today, only President Trump has been impeached... TWICE. A movie about Biden might end up being the most boring movie ever.
