They were headed in such a good direction! I liked the whole time skip after Tokyo drift were Han is basically a millionaire because they pulled of the heist in Fast 5. It’s like small pieces of everyone’s lives. 2Fast2Furious was Brian’s life after F1. Fast and Furious 4 was the reunion. They just fucked up after Fast 5. They should of ended it there.

Outside of lore, in the real world, the first movie was awesome! Enough that they made a second one. But before second one came out, a lot of people thought fast and furious was going to be those one time movie classic movies. It was a low budget movie that was still pretty good but no one thought it was going to be a franchise. Most of the cast in this movie were up and coming or unknown. The up and coming actors like Vin and Michelle were still working on their acting resume. They weren't huge stars at the time. Heck, Michelle didn't have a driver's license when she was filming the first movie. That shows how young and up and coming these actors were. The second movie was okay at the time but it was more a sequel for sequel sake. Even Vin wanted to leave it untouched as a classic instead of doing the hollywood thing of sequelizing every movie that did pretty decent. While Michelle was doing other projects as well. Of course, since the second one wasn't as good as the first, I think most of the cast and people thought, "Eh it was good run." Afterall, in the USA, we didn't have a huge public awareness of drifting and the movie was about street racing, not racing on a track or rally. So after second one, most people didn't think of a third movie really. Still universal studio wanted a third one so they did it. With a new cast. By the time the third one came out, Vin was now more established and really only made the cameo for ownership and rights to the chronicles of riddick franchise. And Universal studio at the time felt they needed some type of cameo for the third movie. It's only AFTER the third movie when VIn got into producer role for the franchise and then everyone came together.

Eh I feel like it would be a pretty decent matchup. 7-800 HP on the charger and that was achievable on Supras in 2001 especially with nitrous. The Supra would weigh 700lbs less than the Charger. People have tried doing the numbers and figure the Charger would win just with having drag tires and suspension.

Looked like the gasket blew off around the headers. But it's animated so I guess they tried. Most likely the gasket. A vehicle usually can still drive for a good amount of time without completely dying at first for awhile like these iron blocks or a Toyota. If it's a VW, Nissan or Subaru, the whole motor will explode. Best to avoid those makes. '84 Fiero and Ferrari 458 also. And a Pinto haha.
